SDG Pioneers 2022

UN Global Compact Network India is pleased to announce the Global SDG Pioneer 2022 - Mr. Ramkrishna Mukkavilli, Founder & MD, Maithri Aquatech. He was chosen as the SDG Pioneer 2022 after a rigorous and competitive selection process across 17 countries.

Mr. Mukkavilli is a passionate driver of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 6 - Clean Water and Sanitation. He is the founder of Maithri Aquatech which is reinventing water access and water purification with decentralised, sustainable and highly scalable water solutions. The announcement was made during the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2022 in New York. The award recognizes 10 professionals and business leaders globally who are doing outstanding work to promote the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda..
