10th Subir Raha Memorial Lecture

About the Lecture:

The Subir Raha Memorial Lecture is an annual event organized by the United Nations Global Compact Network India (GCNI) to honor the late Mr. Subir Raha, the Founder & President of the United Nations Global Compact Network India, and Former CMD, ONGC. His vision and foresight have been instrumental in leading GCNI to become the first local network to be established as a legal entity in 2003. The lecture series was started by the GCNI in 2010 to pay tribute to the achievements of the great leader and it is delivered by experts and luminaries from different walks of life. Since its initiation in 2010, eight memorial lectures have been organized by GCNI.

This year, the 10th Subir Raha memorial lecture will be delivered by Dr. Joyashree Roy, Bangabandhu Chair Professor, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand, & Professor of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

The lecture since its inception has been attended by corporate leaders, CMDs, and senior managerial personnel from leading private and public-sector companies and other key stakeholders including academia, NGOs, senior bureaucrats, industry chambers, and representatives of the UN system in India.
